After finishing his formal education in 2012, Jaap Hoffman worked as a Architectural Draughtsperson at various architectural firms located in Wellington and Vredendal. During this timeframe, he gained close to a decade's worth experience in the architectural industry.

Following his move to Vredendal, he discovered the local need (and the needs in surrounding areas) for architectural services. As a result, Dream Arch was founded in 2023.
